Our Leader
Archbishop Harris Clark is a native of Anderson, South Carolina. He is the son of the late Mrs. Celester Clark and has three older siblings. Archbishop Clark received salvation during his teenage years because of the strong influence of Christianity from his immediate family and the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was educated in the public schools of Anderson, South Carolina where he graduated from McDuffie High School in 1971. He then furthered his education at Tri-County Technical College majoring in Criminal Justice. He also studied paralegal training at Indiana University.
In 1971, Archbishop Clark joined the United States Army. During his military career, he attained the rank of Sergeant First Class and later became first Black American recruiter for the United States Army National Guard in the state of South Carolina where he was also recognized as one of the state’s top recruiters.
During the 1980s, he worked for the Greenville County Sheriff department. During his tenure with the Sheriff Department, he received the award for rookie of the year, making him the first Black American to receive this award in the history of the Greenville County Sheriff Department. Archbishop Clark has rendered service in many capacities within the Body of Christ. He has served as a musician, a Bible study teacher, a Sunday school teacher, deacon and in December of 1994, he was licensed as a minister of the gospel. He was ordained in April of the following year and shortly after he became the pastor of Holly Creek Baptist Church in Starr, South Carolina.
In 1997, Archbishop Clark led his church into the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International under the spiritual leadership of Bishop Paul S. Morton. In 1999, he was placed as District Overseer within the fellowship. After serving in the position faithfully, he was led by God to join the Lord’s Churches Fellowship and Ministries International Inc., where he was duly consecrated as Bishop in July 2002.
In 2004, Archbishop Clark became the Founder and Presiding Prelate of Kingdom Life Fellowship International Inc. The Lord has opened many doors for Archbishop Clark and KLFII to spread the gospel, train and equip people to do the work of the ministry. Kingdom Life Fellowship’s purpose is to be a reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ, see that His Kingdom come and that His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
On June 2, 2006, Archbishop Clark received Apostolic Succession from the International Communion of the Holy Christian Church (ICHCOC). This placed him into authentic Apostolicity. As Archbishop, the Lord has allowed him to have ministries throughout the world: South Africa, London, India and West Africa.
Archbishop Clark’s desire to become a well learned student of the Word led him to begin his Biblical studies at Living Water Bible College in Anderson, SC. He later continued his studies at the North Carolina College of Theology where he earned a PhD in Theology and he currently serves on the college’s Board of Directors.
Archbishop Clark is married to the lovely Elect Lady Betty Jean Clark. To this union, they have two children: Calondra Felisha Winn and Gerald Lamar Clark (Nikkie). They are blessed to have one grandson (Brandon Winn), two granddaughters (Kisha Winn and Roialte Clark), a great grandson (Braydon Winn) and two great granddaughters (Braiya Winn, Blaise Winn).
